Christiaan Huygens Foundation is looking for new board members

Although not all students can contribute financially to charitative organisations, many of them are prepared to do their part in another way. This is the idea with which the Christiaan Huygens Foundation was founded in 2008. A foundation with the goal of improving education, primarily for countries that need it the most.

Isabelle Declerck leaves for 3 months to Suriname on November 6th as part of graduation project. Her goal? Providing sustainable energy for a school in the little town called Pelgrimkondre, so the students have better working conditions when learning. Marjan van Kraaij Project

Marjan van Kraaij

Marjan van Kraaij, mathematics and computer science co-ordinator of the TU Delft held her farewellparty on the 19th of June. Marjan was always very committed to students and worked in close cooperation with Student Society 'Christiaan Huygens'.
In the announcement of her parting, Marjan indicated not to expect any gifts. Instead, she requested to make a contribution to the Christiaan Huygens Foundation. Of course, the Foundation is very grateful for this. For this reason, the board has decided to name the first project initiated by the Foundation after Marjan van Kraaij.
